Aftab Rahman

Aftab has worked in the community over the last three decades. His career includes work as a senior civil servant, Director of charities and as an entrepreneur.

He is at ease at grass roots work and at senior strategic levels. He has the proven ability to develop relationships that lead to partnership between the public, private and the third sector.

He has excellent communication skills with a track record of developing and leading organisations.  He is a very competent public speaker who has lectured to international audiences.

Aftab is a heritage, wellbeing and cohesion expert with the ability to engage minority communities in a new and meaningful way.

He has developed an excellent track record for raising funds from Lotteries Fund, Public sector, Trusts, Charities and Europe.

His qualifications include a Phil Ed in Youth & Community Work, Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and MSc in Management & Organisational Development.
